The term “Document Processing Equipment” encompasses a myriad of products and machinery for business that is primarily aimed at automating the tedious tasks of preparing mail and handling paper; folding it, printing on it, cutting it, stuffing it into envelopes, addressing it for mailing, tabbing mailpieces, opening stacks of envelopes. Software for processing mail lists, producing mailpieces and complying with USPS standards for receiving postage discounts is also an integral part of “Document Processing Equipment”.
